30 Day Parts & Labor Warranty Policy
All scooters sold by Powerplay Scooters.com include a 30 day parts and labor warranty. Warranty is valid if a scooter has malfunctioned due to manufacturers defect. This 30 day warranty covers all parts and labor necessary to restore product back to working condition. Warranty is valid for 30 days after date of delivery. Shipping fee's are not included under this warranty policy. If a scooter needs to be shipped back for parts and labor services then the owner of the scooter must pay for out and return shipping fee's. Owner must contact an authorized Scooter-X representative prior to any warranty claim. All warranty claims must be authorized and accepted by an authorized representative. This 30 day warranty does NOT cover user negligence, error or recklessness. Please see Refund/Exchange policy below.
Refund/Exchange Policy
We do not accept any exchanges unless authorized by a Scooter X representative. If any item is returned without authorization the item will be refused and returned to the sender. If an exchange is accepted then the following applies; All merchandise must be received within 30 days from authorization. Please allow 7-10 days for processing of all exchanges. Any product exchanged for replacement must be received before the replacement will be shipped. After receiving the merchandise the replacement will be sent out within the 7-10 day processing window.
Money back refunds accepted only if scooter remains in unassembled condition and no gasoline has been added to fuel tank. A 15% re-stocking fee applies, so make sure the scooter you order is the one you want. All returned items are re-opened and inventoried for components. If any components is missing the product will be deemed UN-RETURNABLE! The product will be returned to you and the full amount will be retained.

IMPORTANT: You MUST register your warranty online within 10 days of receiving your scooter. Otherwise, the warranty is NULL and VOID. Click here to register your scooter online. Make sure to print a copy of the registration confirmation page as proof of warranty activation. The parts and labor warranty covers:
* Replacement parts EXCEPT plastic parts (including color-coordinated housings); wear-and-tear items such as brakes, brake handles, tires, seats, lights and toggle switches; and damage to the engine or any other part due to abuse or misuse.
* Technical support via phone or e-mail from professional scooter experts.
* Labor for the removal and replacement of or part(s) that occurs at the our service center.This warranty is effective only if the product is used under normal conditions for its intended purpose and the product receives all necessary maintenance and adjustments. We reserve the right to determine what damage is due to defective materials and what is due to product abuse or misuse. We shall not be responsible for any losses to the customer as a result of the failure of any part, including incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from injury, loss of use, loss of time, rental vehicles, loss of profits, or loss of income. There are no agreements or warranties, expressed or implied including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, other than those stated in this agreement. This warranty extends only to the original customer and is non-transferable.
How it works:
If a covered part breaks while the scooter is under warranty, you must contact us to file a warranty claim. A customer service representative will give you the address of our customer service center and instructions on how to ship us the broken part. You must pay for the shipment of the broken part to our service center via UPS or FedEx. When we receive the broken part, we will ship you a replacement part free of charge.
Under the warranty, we will provide any labor needed for the removal and replacement of the broken scooter part. However, you must file a warranty claim and ship the scooter to and from our customer service center. You must pay for the shipment of your scooter to our customer service center via UPS or FedEx and include a $40 money order or cashier's check to pay for return shipment. You are responsible for any damages that may occur in shipping; therefore, we highly recommend purchasing shipping insurance for your scooter. When we receive your scooter, our technicians will inspect the scooter to determine if any damage has occurred during shipping. We are not responsible for any damage that may occur during shipping.
NOTE: Used gas scooters and gasoline-related parts cannot be shipped back to our service center. Gas scooters that have been ridden in any way or gas scooter parts that have contained gasoline cannot be mailed. Gasoline is a hazardous, flammable material and anyone who sends it via the mail may be subject to fines and/or imprisonment.
Warranty extensions:
You may extend the warranty on your regular scooter by purchasing a 60 day extended warranty for $89.99 or 180 day extended warranty for $129.99. This extended warranty is only available at the time of purchase and cannot be purchased later on.
NOTE: Our customer service center is able to provide you with repair services after your warranty has expired or on non-warranted parts; however, you must pay for the cost of all parts, $25 per hour for labor and round-trip shipping to and from our service center, including the cost of shipping insurance and a $40 money order or cashier's check for return shipping.
